Lewis Knox shortlisted for prestigious British Institute of Interior Design award

We’re delighted to announce that Lewis Knox has been be shortlisted for a prestigious British Institute of Interior Design Award. These awards celebrate the very best of British design and are judged by experts in the industry.

Being accredited with the British Institute of Interior Design is important to us as a design studio. It’s testament to the skill, passion, and high-level of service that underpins every project our team completes.

Helen Knox, Co-founder

The home transformation that has been recognised was a real labour of love for the Lewis Knox team. Our clients had an incredible Georgian shooting lodge with huge potential but they didn’t know where to begin.

We helped them to see past the imposing indoor pool that took over most of the ground floor, the cramped kitchen, and the awkward layout. Transforming the 18th century property into a dream family home.

Home shortlisted for British Institute of Interior Designers Award

The project took shape in three phases based on a masterplan created by our architectural designers.

Out went the pool, in came a dream kitchen and flowing living spaces drenched in natural light. We developed three bedroom suites, each reflecting the unique personalities of the daughters who called them home. And the final phase included a characterful master suite with ensuite and his and hers dressing rooms.

At every stage we worked closely with our clients to tweak the plans and enhance the design decisions as the project progressed. So it’s more than a unique, stand-out period property. It’s a home that works on every level for their family life.

The whole project was entirely client focused. The team worked closely with us on both architectural re-design and producing interiors that reflect our family lifestyle and our taste.
